200/18 – Hot Dogs:
BBQ 200! Liverpool vs Man Utd was on the TV so I fancied something to eat whilst I watched the game. As I was already cooking for lunch it needed to be something easy – Hot Dogs!
The Hot Dogs were £6.95 for 6 from Farmison.
The Cook:
A chimney of Oxford Charcoal Oak Lumpwood, 2 heat zones with the hot dogs placed over the indirect zone.
Half way through I flipped them over.
Time to Serve:
When the internal temp was above 70c on the Thermapen I served up. Hot Dog, Onions, American Mustard and Tomato Ketchup. Awesome!
Quite happy with the sauce application!
I planned to inhale this before the football started!
SUMMARY:
Hot Dogs are such a quick and easy cook but they taste fantastic! This was the first time I have had the Farmison Hot Dogs. They were really nice, reminded me of hot dogs I had when I was younger but with quality ingredients this time! They are better than the ones you can buy in the supermarket but my favourites are still the Turner and George Butchers Dogs.
